Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food is a way to explore her life. She developed a curiousity about food and cooking after moving from suburban Long Island to the diverse culture that is Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas coexisting on the same menu is what she believes in. However, what is consistent with her food is an unifying view of the future that longingly remembers the past. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso, who is inspired by her Italian American tradition. The restaurant received the warmest welcome. The restaurant's version of old-school Italian has been hailed as one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. Lofaso has been praised as a neighborhood favorite who consistently delivers meals that are delicious, authentic and welcoming. Lofaso worked as an apprentice of culinary experts, absorbing their techniques as well as taking risks. She did not hesitate to do so to follow her instincts. In a short time, Lofaso rose to the top in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked alongside many celebrities, and transformed a variety of Los Angeles restaurants. In the year 2011, Lofaso partnered with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to open Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso found her place within Black Market, and through the alliances she made. Lofaso was able to finally experience the freedom of expression she had desired. Black Market has no one direction in mind and is the same way. A meal could start with potato chips and peppers some dill. This could be followed by Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia is the anchor for this bold array of flavours. Lofaso in her entire career, has measured performance by the degree to which she understands her audiences. Also, she stays authentic to her personality. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her capacity to be her self outside of the culinary environment. Since then, she has continued her career in front of cameras as a judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso published The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Easy and Delicious Recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of how she faced challenges when she was a student at her school, the French Culinary Institute. She was raising her daughter Xea also. Lofaso believes that all her success is due to her passion of cooking and she is in a position to stay in the middle of this field by staying in the kitchen. Chefletics transforms the appearance of Chefwear with its emphasis on style and functionality. Lofaso cares about remaining true to your values and your ideals. To achieve this, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new company will offer a customized experience for customers.
